GR- GERMAN CLOTH with Cotton and Polyester Dobby Backings. Cloth Toppings
manufactured by Aresma and R & S (Happich), imported from Germany
Aresma and R & S (Happich) first quality German twill weave cloth toppings are
made using 100% Acrylic, and Polyester/Acrylic blend, surface cloth, and are laminated
with butyl rubber to tan and black dobby backings. This Polyester/Acrylic twill blend surface
cloth has good resistance to fading in black, blue or brown colors, but there is
no guarantee against fading for lighter colors.

These toppings are made using Polyester/Acrylic blend, or 100% Acrylic
surface cloth laminated with butyl rubber to 100% Polyester Black dobby backings.
R&S (Happich) GIN Sonnenland Plus Cloth topping is Original for 1990-On Mercedes
SL, E-320 and other Models. Topping with Black backing was adopted by
Mercedes in 1993 for all convertible models.
